1 Light Art lamps was born out of a love of lighting, and a passion for the useful and beautiful items that made up our everyday lives in years past.

The industrial revolution saw new and wondrous things designed and built with gears, screws, and bits of metal long before plastic took over the world.

Things that were intended to make life easier and made to last, have now been replaced by things with no moving parts and batteries included.  

So now these amazing devices sit in attics thrift stores and antique shops; lovely to look at – but - what to do with it?
